As you may have noticed, Lance Armstrong joined the peloton in the Tour Down Under. Why did he came back? Is it for an 8th victory in the Tour de France? Does he want to become a star like Eddy Merckx? Did he miss the life as a rider? Or does he simply needs the money (...)?

In my opinion it's not a wise decision: he retired just after winning his 7th Tour de France. The risk of failing is rather great as other riders came up. By joining ASTANA, the insinuations aboute the use of dope will come back.
What's your opinion? Was it a good decision to rejoin the peloton?
